At Gemistry, we are committed to delivering your lab-grown diamond jewellery orders securely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable laws. Below is a detailed overview of our shipping policy, including charges, delivery terms, and conditions.

1. Shipping Locations

We offer delivery across all states and Union Territories within India. Delivery may be unavailable to certain remote locations, but our customer support team will contact you if your location is restricted and offer an alternative solution.

2. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 7-10 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next available business day.

3. Delivery Time

  • Standard Delivery: 3-5 business days from dispatch for most locations.
  • Delivery times may vary depending on location, logistics conditions, and shipping carriers. You will receive a tracking number to monitor your order once dispatched.

4. Shipping Charges

  • Free Standard Shipping: Gemistry provides free standard shipping on all orders within India.

5. Delivery Partner

Gemistry partners with Sequel, a reliable logistics provider known for safe, efficient, and secure deliveries. We trust Sequel to handle all shipments, ensuring they reach you in perfect condition.

6. Packaging

  • All jewellery is securely packaged with protective materials to prevent any damage during transit.
  • We ensure your order is elegantly packaged in a brand-themed box, perfect for gifting.

7. Insurance

All shipments are insured for the full value until they are delivered. If your parcel is damaged or lost during transit, Gemistry will assist you with the claim process in accordance with the insurance coverage.

8. Customs and Import Duties

Since Gemistry exclusively ships within India, no customs or import duties will apply to domestic shipments. We will update this section if any government regulations change.

9. Delivery Address

  • Ensure the shipping address is accurate, including the correct PIN code, as Gemistry cannot be held responsible for delivery delays due to incorrect address details.
  • If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address, the customer will be liable for any reshipping charges.

10. Order Tracking

  • Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS.
  • You can track the status of your shipment through Sequel’s website or tracking system.

11. Government Compliance & Legal Requirements

Gemistry complies with all relevant Indian laws, including:

  • GST Compliance: Gemistry is registered under GST. Applicable taxes are included in the jewellery price, and an invoice with GST details will be provided for every order.
  • BIS Hallmarking: We ensure all metals used in our jewellery meet Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hallmarking regulations.
  • Consumer Protection: We adhere to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, ensuring that your rights as a consumer are respected.

12. Returns and Exchanges

  • If your order has issues such as defects or incorrect items, refer to our Return & Exchange Policy for instructions.
  • Products can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt, provided they are unused, in original condition, and with packaging intact.

13. Terms & Conditions

  • Additional Charges: For shipments that cannot be delivered on the first attempt, an additional charge of Rs 150 per attempt applies. After 2 failed attempts, the material will be returned to the origin (RTO).
  • Extraordinary Events: During events like elections, strikes, or floods, Gemistry may impose additional charges, and delivery times may increase.
